Join the Buckroe Improvement League at Little E’s on Saturday, June 19 from 2-4 p.m. for a Customer Appreciation Celebration.

Little E’s is one of the oldest businesses in Buckroe. For some history, Little E’s Food Store opened in January 1974. As a child / teenager, Dad grew up in his father’s convenience/butcher store located in Williamson, West Virginia. After mom and dad were married in 1962, they relocated to Hampton, VA following a family friend that had relocated here. Dad first worked for 7-Eleven and after 10 years went into business with a partner and owned a convenience store in Newport News. After 2 years, they wanted to open another location in Hampton. After operating both locations for a year, they decided each own/operate one locate. Dad kept the Hampton location and his partner kept the Newport News location. Dad renamed the store Little E’s which was named after my sister and I being “little Evan.”

And don’t forget to come by our table at the Buckroe Farmers Market that same day anytime between 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. See you Saturday!!
